OPINION: ASUU AND THE SPIRIT OF OPTIMISM

It is this spirit of optimism that has taken us over ten years negotiating unendingly. This is high time that ASUU must not make the mistake of relaying on promises from these politicians and suspend or call off this strike as it has always been in the time past. We should advance this struggle until such a time that the government understands that ASUU must not be taken for granted anymore.

If we miss this struggle to empty promises again then ASUU will surely have no other moral right to call for another strike anytime soonest.

If they promise to commence payment next year or whenever, let ASUU continue with the strike until the politicians fulfill their promises. ASUU should take a queue from medical doctors.
Enough is enough!!!
