NANS Appoints Bright Olorungbotemi As The National Chairman Media And Publicity Committee

National Association of Nigerian Students NANS has appointed Comrade Bright Tunde Olorungbotemi as the National Chairman Media And Publicity Committee.

This was made known in a press release signed by Comrade Odebunmi Idowu, the chief of staff to the president. In which he announced that the appointment of Bright Olorungbotemi has been approved by NANS president Adedayo Asefon Sunday.

Following the announcement of the appointment, Comrade Bright Tunde Olorungbotemi has shown his appreciation and excitement for the privilege giving to him, to hold such a gigantic position like that in the association.

Here is the acceptance speech released by Comrade Bright Tunde Olorungbotemi aka One Class on the confirmation of his appointment by the Revolutionary President of NANS as Chairman of Presidency Media aide below:


My Distinguished Members of the National association of Nigerian students, senior cadres, the stakeholders, senators, members, and fellow associates of NANS national Media and Publicity Committee, Comrades,
Ladies and gentlemen,

I am honoured and privileged to lead the media floor before the NANS Presidency office on the occasion of my appointment as lead compatriot of the Media aide for my constituency.

I should like, first of all, to very sincerely thank the informed and uninformed leaders and all the gallant comrades in the movement who put their trust in me by appointing me to perform the duties of Chairman of the NANS national Media and Publicity Committee.

Let me seize this opportunity to pay tribute to the very important and exceptional role played by Mr Chief of staff to the President, Comrade Odebunmi Idowu aka ID Aluta, who has alutaristic guided our Organization into the 21st century. My gratitude to Comrade Adekitan Lukman Adebisi aka Tunice, the NANS National Secretary General’s progressive spirit and his vision for students movement is immeasurable.

NANS Ekiti JCC Assistant Secretary general on which I served 3 years ago. My participation in its unionism spent within students’ Press, Students’ union, National association of Nigerian Comrades(NANC), NANS and NAPS obviously helped to enrich my experience.

I must also add that the foresight of Comrade Famuyibo Oluwasegun aka Captain, Comrade Oluwadamilare B Bewaji, Engr China and Comrade Amb Ogunolu Samsideen Opeyemi and many other prominent Comrades; you are all gallant student and youth leaders of our time, and the unflinching support I enjoyed during the period I served under their tutulege undoubtedly help to spur me on to my present mission.

I am deeply indebted to all of you for this.


Thank you, Mr. President, Comrade Adedayo Sunday Asefon, the revolutionary 01 of our time, I greatly look forward to supporting you and working with you, as you wisely and knowledgeably steer the Assembly of Nigerian Students toward a very successful session which you have started on a good record and movement.
